🛑 STOP SLEEPING IN A TRENCH!
Welcome to The Great Mattress Horror Show Tell Others Savings
If you’re waking up with back pain, tossing and turning, or feel like you’re trapped in a “Grand Canyon” in the middle of your bed, you aren’t alone. You are a victim of the Polyurethane Plastic Foam Mattress Scam.
Most “Big Brand” mattresses sold today are designed with planned obsolescence. They use low-grade, short-life plastic foam that softens within months, not years. Then, when you try to use your warranty, they hit you with the “Warranty Loopholes”—telling you that a 1.5-inch sag is “normal” and softening of the foam isn’t covered because that softening “doesn’t affect the pressure-relieving qualities of the mattress.” No, it doesn’t affect the pressure-relieving qualities, it affects the support qualities!
I’m sick of it. And I want you to help us expose it and help your neighbors across the country from making the same mistake.
🏆 THE PRIZE: $500 Savings
We aren’t selling more plastic. We are offering The Solution to the plastic mattress scam sold everywhere.
🤳 HOW TO ENTER: 3 SIMPLE STEPS
- FILM THE HORROR: Grab your phone and a tripod. Show us and the world your sag. Show us the brand. Tell us how much you paid and how long it lasted. Be real, be frustrated, and show us the evidence. Everyone must submit a qualified video. Here are the qualifications…
A) You must be able to demonstrate and document a real problem with your mattress. Making claims is not good enough. If your mattress has a body impression, measure it on video. Make sure the video shows it clearly and unmistakably. If it has softened substantially where you sleep, demonstrate with weights or a bowling ball how it is softer. If it has made you sick, show rashes, doctor’s diagnosis, or sleep in a different bed and your symptoms go away.
B) You must say in your video that you are creating it to save $500 on one of our Sleep Essentials chemical free organic latex mattresses.
C) You must show the make and model of the mattress you are having trouble with and how much you paid for it. Obviously proof of what you are claiming is required. If you don’t have a copy of your receipt, call the place you purchased that piece of junk mattress and ask them if they can print you a copy for your records. Be sure not to tell them you are using it for your horror show video or they may not share it with you.
- UPLOAD YOUR FINISHED VIDEO HERE: We will review your video before approving it for the savings. We may make suggestions for changes and editing so you can get it approved. This will help us both for content quality. We want you to save by helping us expose the mattress industry, so we want to help!
POST IT SOCIALLY: Once you get final approval for your entry, upload your video on your choice of two of these four social media platforms: TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and YouTube. Once that is finished, you must send us your links on the following form to finalize your savings: You MUST use the hashtag #MattressHorrorShow and tag @SleepEssentials in your video descriptions so we can find you.
SUBMIT YOUR ENTRY: Fill out the form below with the link to your post and a copy of your video.
🧐 WHAT ARE THE JUDGES LOOKING FOR?
We want to see:
The “Trench” depth: Use a straight edge to show us exactly how deep that plastic has collapsed. Now, obviously, if your mattress is new and has a 1″ body impression, that is more tragic. A one-year-old mattress is more tragic than a 30-year-old mattress with the same depth. If your mattress is really old, we will not award the savings. Secondly, a mattress that costs $4000 with a deep body impression is more tragic than the same body impression in a mattress that only cost a few hundred dollars. So if your sales receipt shows you only paid something like $300, you won’t be awarded the savings.
The “Chemical” factor: Is your bed filled with toxic fire- retardants? This is much harder to prove. You can use credible medical diagnosis as evidence, and it will be taken into careful consideration. However, an actual chemical test of the mattress would be indisputable evidence. But we know getting chemical tests of the actual mattress is highly unlikely. But if you are one of the unfortunate people who discovered you have fiberglass in your mattress and it has gotten into your home, and you can show pictures of the fiberglass, or worse, clean up expenses to remove the fiberglass from your home, that would likely make you an easy winner. Feel free to reach out to us with questions regarding this issue here: Horror Show Savings Questions for Enthusiasts – Sleep Essentials, Inc.
The Story: How has this “piece of poop” mattress affected your sleep and your health? Tell us in your own words. Speak to the camera and make your case believable and sincere. Get creative and entertaining! This will obviously help you be believable to your viewers. Your video is best if it is between 1 and 4 minutes in length so try to keep it short and to the point, but make your case. Posting to two of the four social media accounts is required, but posting to all four increases your chances of helping others from making the same mistake.
