The middle layers of a mattress will make up the majority of the bed. You can choose to vary the levels of firmness in your middle layers in order to have a more customized feel. For example, many customers choose a Medium Firm or Medium layer, paired with a Medium or Medium Soft layer for the middle of their new bed. Side sleepers and those who prefer more cushion may want to choose a Medium layer and Soft layer to increase cushioning while still providing some support.
